
- How to stretch the Upper Trapezius muscle
To Stretch your Upper Trapezius Muscle start in a seated position, with your shoulders relaxed and head in a natural position. Carefully bend your neck to bring your right ear toward you right armpit. If more pressure is needed to feel the stretch you can use your right hand to gently pull from the side of the head just above the left ear toward the right arm pit. Be sure not to allow you left shoulder to rise as this will prevent the muscle for lengthening into a stretched position. Repeat on other side.
